The background for this game is a typical Norwegian scene which could have been the backdrop for many of the stories to which this game alludes. Above the reels, we have the tall, snow-capped mountain range, which, if in Norway, would make them the Scandes. Under these imposing peaks, we have a lush green valley not long out of the clutches of winter, its verdant slopes enjoying their first rays of sun after a long and hard cold season. The scene depicted reminds players of the many Fjords in the Scandinavian peninsula that stretches down as far as Denmark.

The playing board for this game is a stone construction, with each of the symbol casings looking like an onyx block of sacred rock.
The symbols for the game are split into low-paying, high-paying, and special symbols. The low-paying symbols are the ones that looked like gems encased in stone with a royal value. These start with the 10, worth 5x the stake for the top combination. Then there is the Queen, the King, and the Ace. The Ace is the most valuable of the low-paying icons, paying out at 10x the stake for the top combination. Then the higher paying symbols start with the white wolf, worth 12x the stake for the top combination. This icon is followed by the woman, the bearded man, and finally, the dragon. The dragon is the most valuable, paying out at 50x the stake for the biggest combination. The specials are the blue orb wild, and the shield scatter.
