Introducing Vegas Night Life slot
Vegas Night Life from the developers at NetEnt is all things bling with the right amount of glitz and glamour. The slot has an abundance of status symbols which include plenty of shiny expensive items and dollar signs. There are three jackpots on offer in this slot, one of these is progressive whilst the other two are far smaller and the consolation prizes. There is another trio in this game that you will want to uncover and this is the Cash Stacker where you can not only win the jackpot but you can also win free spins and instant cash prizes.
Theme & Design
When it comes to the design NetEnt have pulled out all the stops to ensure that the slot is sparkly and full of razzle dazzle! The slot is played out over 5-reel with 20 pay lines and these are surrounded by bright billboard lights. The background features landmarks of the Strip such as Paris Las Vegas and Paris Las Vegas. All the action takes place at night which is ideal as it allows for the slot to use illuminations which are pink, purple, and light blue. The background images are well executed unfortunately the reels are not as inviting with the cheesy luxury symbols.
Game Play and Statistics
You can play this slot on any devices which gives you the freedom to play whenever the mood takes them! When it comes to placing you bet there is a good range on offer which starts from just 20p per spin up to £100 per spin which should appeal to a wide audience of players. The math model in Vegas Night Life is a little different to what you are probably used to, and I did find this when I tested the game. However, I did land frequent wins and activate the features easily in fact at one point I almost activated the features back to back. Even with this fast-paced activity I did find that my bank balance was not growing that quickly in fact at times it fell for no apparent reason! The return to player is on average with the competition and stands at 96% however the slot does take 3.7% of each bet which then goes towards the Mega Jackpot.
When it comes to the symbols you will see that they are separated into two categories, the low and the high paying symbols. The low paying symbols are represented by the playing card suits clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades. The high paying unsurprisingly feature high end luxury items and you will come across, a bottle of champagne, an emerald ring, a purple Rolex watch and a stunning sports car. These symbols will pay you between 5x – 15x when you land a line of five. The wild is a jazzy looking symbol and is worth 15x your stake just like the sports car, but the wild can substitute for all the other symbols to create winning combinations. The wilds can also land individually or in complete reel stacks.
Vegas Night Life: Features
The main attraction in this slot is the progressive jackpot, however there are several other features that you can enjoy to, these being the Cash Stacker, the Instant Win, and the Free Spins.
All three features are accessed by the scatter which is represented by the casino chip and can land on any of your reels. When you land three scatters in view on your game screen, they morph into Pick Me symbols, and you then get to choose one which then reveals the bonus that you go on to play.
Of all the features the one that does lack a little lustre is the Instant Win even though there is technically the possibility to land some decent wins. When you play this feature the Pick Me symbols will flip over to show multipliers of 7.5x to 250x your total bet. The win is then multiplied by 2 if 3 scatters have activated the feature or multiplied by 4 if you activated the feature by landing 4 or 5 scatters.
The next feature is the free spins, and the number of free spins is allocated dependent on the number of scatters that you have activate the feature with. If you land 3, 4, or 5 scatters in view are worth 5, 10, or 20 free spins, respectively. Once the free spins are active all line wins are subject to a x3 multiplier. Unfortunately, the free spins cannot be retriggered when in the feature.
The final bonus feature on offer is the Cash Stacker and it is this feature where the three jackpots can be won. The feature starts with three re-spins and the playing grid changes to provide a 5-6-7-6-5 layout, where there are only dollar sign symbols in play. Whenever you land a dollar sign it will fall into the lowest free space on the reels, and your re-spins then reset to three again. Every dollar sign has a monetary value of 0.25x to 15x your bet.
When you have filled your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th rows, the value of these are then multiplied by x2, x3, x4, or x5, respectively. If you fill the 2nd row completely you win 10x the bet equating to the Mini Jackpot and if you fill the 4th row is full you will win 30x your stake in the terms of the Midi Jackpot.
The Mega Jackpot is the top prize and you win this if you fill your entire 3rd reel, the pay-out for this is £1,000.00 in addition to 20% of the contribution from the bets and there is no limit on how high this jackpot can go.
Vegas Night Life could be described as a fabulous night out chasing a jackpot! Overall, the slot is fast paced and offer exciting game play. The slot did make me think of a safe night in Las Vegas in so much as staying in a luxurious hotel, ordering room service, and eating it in front of the telly in your room! It just all feels a little flat and could be accused of riding on the back of NetEnt's hugely successful jackpot slots Mega Fortune and Mega Fortune Dreams.
That’s all ok though as it makes for a great holiday and in the same vein this is a fabulous slot where the features do come around, although I did feel that the free spins were minimal but in the slots defence the Cash Stacker feature appears frequently but the wins were not as much as I was hoping for. The progressive jackpots can really build up in this game thanks to the no limits.
