The slot is set on the floodplains of the Fields of Elysium in the Inner Kingdom, where players join the army of Knight Sir Virilis Manblade as he battles against his ally King Trenin DeSaxe. There is a real feeling of autumn and players can expect to come across eight shield symbols as well as the wild which is represented by the Shields of Wild and this can substitute for all of the other symbols with the exception of the scatter and will pay out x25 of the players stake if they are lucky enough to land five on a pay line.

When it comes to the features there is no doubt that players will want to activate the Marching Stacks Free Games feature, in this feature every time the sword scatter lands on the 3rd, 4th or 5th reels. Players will see that a stack of symbols will appear on the fifth reel and dependent on the number of scatters the player originally landed the stacked symbols are made up of a group of five symbols, if the feature has been activated with five scatters, the player is awarded with the highest paying symbol with the exception of the lion shield and can lead to rewards of the x2,500 of the players stake.

The Shields of the wild also has a Shield Wall feature which is activated at random on any spin in the base game, in this feature all of the symbols apart from the wild and scatter are upgraded to the next highest paying symbol and lucky players could land a full screen of lion shields which equates to a reward of x100 of the players stake.

There is also a great free spins feature where players will see the upgrade sword symbol available during the free spin, players that land it will see the stack of symbols on the reels upgrading to the next highest paying symbol. However, if there is no upgrade sword on the free spin the stack of symbols will move one reel to the left with an identical stack also added to reel five, which results in players having symbols stacked on both reels four and five.

This continues until each of the five reels are full of stacked symbols and landing two upgrade sword symbols results in two symbol upgrades and so on. Theme

The theme of this slot is fiery, and this is the same for the volatility and we would gauge this as a medium to high range variance. The theme is very well put together, and the visuals are perfect for the theme, and the inclusion of an orchestral score which plays whilst the reels spin is an ideal accompaniment for the slot. Whilst the range of extras are not huge there is some good win potential and when we gave the slot a spin we won x175 of our stake when we landed the shield wall feature.
