Age of the Gods Norse: Bool of Dwarves sees Playtech going down an unexpected path by creating a book slot that slots into their Age of Gods series. However, there is nothing “by the book” here as this slot demonstrates that you can re-create a simple concept in completely new and exciting ways.

This slot is just like most Ra copies as it relies heavily on and is all about the bonus rounds. Book of Dwarves is unlike most book of slots as it has a separate wild and book scatter. The wild represented by a “W” can substitute for all the regular symbols to create winning combinations as well as being the highest value symbol in the game and landing five on a pay line will reward you handsomely with 50x your stake.
The bonus round in this slot is activated when you land three or more of the book scatters on the same spin anywhere on your reels. The book then opens and show the special symbol, and this is then your expanding symbol through the free spins. However, unlike the other book slots the special symbol will expand to 3x3 rather than covering the whole reel.
When you first activate the free spins bonus you start with 10 free spins and to the left hand side of your screen you will see that there is a meter, every scatter you land in the bonus feature are collected in the meter and you then have the opportunity to go up four levels to get both, these being a new expanding symbol and extra spins and this works for you as follows.

The starting level one provides you with 10 spins complete with 1 lower value expanding symbol, the second level comes into play when you have collected four books and gives 5 extra spins with 1 new expanding symbol which can be low or high. Level three is available when you have collected nine books and you get 4 extra spins and 1 high value expanding symbol and finally there is level four which comes into play when you have collected 3 additional free spins, and the wild also expands into 3x3 mega wilds.

You will then be awarded with the same amount of free spins which will be of the level you have achieved. Level one provides 10 new spins, levels two, three, and four, provide you with five, four, or three extra spins, respectively. There is no limit on the number of times you can do this.

The Daily Jackpot is won at a specific time each day, the instant jackpot is won before it reaches the amount that is on display and the ultimate jackpot which is a progressive jackpot that has no limit and can keep going up and up!

Age of the Gods Norse: Book of Dwarves can only be summed up as a highly potent slot that offers players a mix of two quite different worlds. The developers at Playtech have cleverly expanded on their hugely successful book concept and created this slot which is totally unique. Due to the high volatility the base game requires patience, and it is all forgotten when you hit the incredibly exciting bonus feature.

When you get to level 2 and are rewarded with 5 additional spins and another expanding symbol is easy to land however getting to level 4 with the expanding wilds is not so easy, but if you get lucky you could be landing a maximum win of 10,000x your stake. Although the return to player is disappointing overall this is a strong slot that is a welcome additional to the Age of Gods series.
