Introduction Sugar Cubes Slots

Developed by Dice Lab in partnership with Relax Gaming, Sugar Cube is a new slot offering us plenty of dice imagery and references. Set in a ‘dice lab’, six sided objects roll along supply and production lines throughout the background to incorporate the theme further.

Set out on a grid of 5 reels and 5 rows, there is winning cluster formula for the player to win with, alongside features like cascading reels and free spins. The cascading reels see winning combinations removed from the reels in order that the player make even more cluster wins, adding to the amount they have the chance of winning.

Bet Strategy

The betting range for this slot is from 20p to £100 per spin, meaning that all players, whether they are beginners or more competent betters, can enjoy the slot.

The volatility for Sugar Cubes is set at 4 out of 5 and offers an RTP of 97.06%. This is higher than we would usually seen in slots, meaning that with the additional features and cascading reels, there is always a steady stream of wins to be had.
The pay table comes with a nifty sliding scale to show the wins of different clusters; for instance: four ‘1s’ will give 0.4x the stake, while sixteen ‘6s’ offers 3.2 times the stake.

The regular paying symbols for Sugar Cubes are the different sides of the dice: a white one, a brown two, a gold three, a green four, an orange five and a black six. Alone, these symbols don’t exactly offer a huge amount, but with the cascading reels feature, there is plenty of chance for the player to win; a maximum win of 5,000 time the stake is available from this slot.
There are four Special Symbols but, since these are best explained alongside their features, you can read about these further below.

The first of the special symbols is the wild, which is depicted as what looks like a bar of Cadbury’s chocolate. This will substitute for any regular dice pay symbols and can land naturally on the reels however they appear every time a winning cluster is formed.
The next is the Magic Symbol, shown as a black and gold wand. When two land beside one another, they will transform everything in their path into the highest symbol to form a cluster win.

The TNT symbol is a Bomb. When two land next to one another, the surrounding symbols are blow up and cluster wins are had.
Finally, there is the S symbol, which is the scatter. Landing 2, 3, 4, or 5 of these next to one another will give the player, respectively, 6, 9, 12 or 15 free spins. The bonus games brings the same as the base, with a few exceptions to the rules. One of these is that there are no special symbols except for the wild.

The Free Spin Feature begins and at the start of each spin there is two gummy bears who jump to the front, holding dice. The numbers on the dice are then removed from the spin. For example, if one and four are present on the dice, these no longer sit on the reels for the spin. There is also a win multiplier that increases with each cascade.

With so many symbols, so many features and so much to win, this slot is a fun way of making a windfall, while enjoying the slot. Quirky and unique is how we’d describe Sugar Cubes, with a maximum of £500,000!
