The Good the Bad and the Wild Slot Overview
There are a variety of slots that are based around the Wild West and this particular slot is based on the well-known 1960s classic western, ‘The Good the Bad and the Wild ’. Players will find that there are two different features that really stand out both of which have superbly animated intros. The theme is echoed perfectly with the three progressive prizes which come into play when you hit the good, bad or ugly symbol on your reels. The Graveyard Shootout bonus feature will see you winning two of the three progressive prizes. Personally, the theme tune really makes this slot stand out from any of the other contenders and really gives this slot an edge.
The first thing I noticed was that this game is a little retro and quote blocky, however the slot has been designed like this on purpose and it is the animations that really make you realise that this is a very modern game. To the left of your reels you will see a cowboy and above the reels on the right are the three progressive winning pots.
The Good, The Bad and The Wild Symbols and Features
The symbols are mixed and include a US and confederate flag, cannon, a grave of an unknown person, a wanted poster, silhouette of a horse and a drinking stop. The soundtrack is sparse with just a few twangs of a guitar every now and again, however when it comes to the bonus feature there is shooting and a full soundtrack and some animation on your reels which range from a shooting gun to a hangman’s noose. There are two exceptional bonus features however there is no free spins in this slot at all. There are a variety of special symbols the wild is the horse and can substitute for all other symbols, the wild pays out the highest prize with 10,000 coins should you land all five.
There are two crossed guns with Tuco’s Target Range on them which appear on the 1st and 5th reels as well aw the good, bad and ugly symbols that just appear on reels 3, 4 and 5. Get ready to Play There are 20 pay lines on offer in this game and a bet range that starts from just 1p per line to a massive £25 per line, which means that there is a maximum setting of £500 per spin making this a slot that is bound to appeal to all high rollers. There is an auto spin feature that will allow you to play up to 25 spins, but you can stop the auto play at any time.
Bonus Games
The Tuco’s Target Range begins with animation blacking the screen while you are then transported to a shooting gallery with sandbags sitting behind some targets. You need to shoot three of the targets and when you do you are rewarded with a multiplier that is added to your spin amount. Once your three shots are over, the multipliers are revealed from the targets that you didn’t choose. The Graveyard bonus has a truly intense introduction and as soon as the screen clears you will be at the iconic graveyard. You will not be able to see the people clearly as they are too far away instead you get to choose two coloured segments of the graveyard and shoot. When you do you will hit either the good, the bad or the ugly and rewarded with the progressive bonus pot associated with them.
Conclusion
The developers at Pariplay have done a really good job to bring this popular theme to life and I was really pleased to see that they had provided all of the key ingredients for a classic slot. In regular play there is the chance to land 10,000 coins and the bonus games keep the slot interesting. Although there is no free spins, I can honestly say I didn’t miss them.
