Symbols

The slot has definitely been designed and based on an enchanted woodland which is one of the most used genres and made famous thanks to slots like Enchanted Garden. Players can expect to come across all types of nature symbols which include a grand old oak tree, a nocturnal owl, a toadstool mushroom and a truly stunning bright white horse. There are many other charming symbols which include a jewel encrusted pendant, a crystal ball which is the game scatter and a stunning red haired lady of the forest who is the wild. When I played, I did feel that the designers could have done more to convey the woodland setting but on the whole the slot is reasonably eye catching. The reels are set within a crumbling old wall with a wide expanse of green all around. If I am honest, I found the total design rather underwhelming in comparison to some of the other slots that have a similar theme, some of which also boast a sequel for example the Enchanted Garden 11. Even though the images used in Lady of the Forest are displayed in 2D, a number of them are rather comical which gives the game more of a novelty factor rather than a real aura of total enchantment.

Lady of the Forest does only offer 10 pay lines and as so the slot will award big wins, but these wins will be less frequent. In order to land a win, the player has to land matching symbols on the pay lines starting from the left and the award is determined by the line bet amount that is displayed below the reels. Players get to choose whether they play with a number of low value line bets that range from 0.01 and max out at 0.30, and whichever they choose are then multiplied automatically x10 to give the total bet staked.

When it comes to the symbols the wild can substitute for all of the symbols except the scatter to create winning combinations and the prize can be doubled even when there is just one wild showing. The scatter is the glass ball complete with a blue light and this cannot be substituted however players that are lucky enough to land three or more of the scatter symbols will be rewarded with 15 free spins and a x3 multiplier. When the free spins round is activated the screen appears to shake and the bonus opens and strangely instead of the classic spins, players would expect to see there is an animated glowing wheel that reveals the reels, the best part though is that additional free games can be retriggered at any times.

Lady of the Forest also includes an auto play feature, but it is worth noting that the gamble feature cannot be activated when the auto play is in use. Conclusion

When I trialled this slot, I began by playing in the free game mode just so I could get a feel for the slot before wagering a real bet. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience considering there is just 10 fixed pay lines and I found the game play to be flawless. I think I was impressed the most by knowing that I could win a jackpot of 9,000 coins.
