Overview of Pride and Prey Slot

Pride and Prey is a new collaboration between the developers at Red 7 and the software team at WMS Gaming. Players are taken on a trip to the African savannah where they will meet all of the majestic animals living there.

Game Set up

The slot plays out on 5-reels and 20 pay lines. The reels three positions high and are framed with decorated twine under the humid, scorching African sun. Regardless of the weather the slot has such a realistic feel that you will probably feel as though you have joined the animals basking in the sun!

Design, graphics & symbols

Pride and Prey is extremely well designed and is set against a stunning visual background that all wildlife and safari lovers will truly appreciate. Throughout the entire game the animated graphics capture a realism that you just do not come across on many slots of today and really makes this slot stand out from all of the other similar slot games. Players can expect to find some beautifully detailed symbols which include lion and lionesses, zebras, giraffes and other such animals which make up the majority of the symbols.

Gameplay & Betting

Like most slots the aim is to line up matching symbols which will either activate a reward or create winning combinations in the usual way. Players that land three or more in adjacent positions on their reels over any of the pay lines will be paid out in multiples of their stake which is worked out by the value of the winning combination. The higher value the symbols you match and the higher your stake the more you will win.

When it comes to placing bets, the range starts from just 10p per spin up to a maximum of £200 for the high rollers who want to take the risk. The main jackpot stands at 200 coins therefore there is some real potential for massive wins. The RTP is 97.52% which is among the highest that you will find in any of the slots on offer today. Feature Symbols

The two main feature symbols in offer in Pride and Prey is the wild which is easily recognisable and behaves as one would expect, substituting for any missing symbol to create winning combinations as it adds the missing symbols on the pay line. The wild also has another function in this slot and that is that it not only replaces the missing symbols but when you and three or more wilds you are also rewarded with a stake multiplier which could be up to x20. There is also s scatter symbol which is also the free bonus symbol, and this activates the main bonus game. As the scatter cannot be substituted by the wild, scatters have to and in their true form to gain entry to the bonus game.

Bonuses and Jackpots

The most obvious bonus is the rewards feature which is represented by the meters which can be found on the left hand side of the reels. The feature runs all of the time in the background with the meters filling when more symbols show up. The reward multipliers start from x1 up to x25 whilst also awarding free spins too dependent in the value of the completed meter. This is a great feature which makes the game more interesting and means that you are never far away from a win.

The free spins feature rewards players with 8 free spins which begin immediately after the spin that rewarded them. At the start of the free spins there are no wilds, but they will appear as the feature goes on. Players whose balance drops below the value of their previous spin are given the chance by using the Wager Saver feature.
