Reactoonz 2 sees the return of everyone’s favourite googly-eyed goons in the sequel to one of Play ‘n’ GO’s most popular slots to date. Although the changes appear to be minor to begin with, they are enough to draw a distinction between the two free slots. The first thing of note is the additional collection meter, the modifiers have been totally rearranged and the wilds come complete with several tricks that they can pull out when needed. However, behind this all is the amiable characters that people loved from the original slot and the frenzied activity that made the original such a success. Theme & Design

The look when you open the slot is familiar if you are au fait with the first slot in this series. Reactoonz 2 plays out over the same 7x7 format which is completed with a plain blue background and an upbeat soundtrack. There is a noticeable change to the right-hand side of the screen, and this now is home to a couple of fascinating charge/meter areas that burst into life when the cluster wins begin to rack up. opening look is reassuringly familiar. Reactoonz 2 retains the 7×7 format, with a rather plain blue background and a zippy soundtrack. The right-hand side of the screen has been changed though. There are now two intriguing meter/charge areas that fire into life when cluster wins stack up. There is no doubt that the developers have gone with the idea of providing players with everything that was in the first version and adding a bit more too.

Reactoonz 2 can be played using all devices which is good news for those who may only have a desktop computer and gives the player the opportunity to play the slot whenever and wherever you may be. When it comes to placing your bet there is a good range that starts at just 20p per spin and tops out at £100 per spin, this makes the game accessible to all types of players. When it comes to the game’s statistics things are like Reactoonz, however, the return to player has been lowered slightly and stands at a respectable 96.2% which is the default setting. The developers have also kept the volatility high stating it as 8/10 and this does mean you can expect the honed math model from Reactoonz and is a true highlight. The maximum win potential has also been increased in this slot from 3,000x the stake to a massive 5,083x your stake.

Super Symbols

When it comes to the symbols the same eight characters from the first slot make a return and are the regular symbols on the pay table. These characters are split into two groups, these being one eyed and two eyed symbols. You will be rewarded with a win when you land a cluster of five or more of the same symbols that touch vertically or horizontally which in turn activates the cascade feature. The most valuable combinations in the slot are clusters created of 15+ and wins will range from 3x up to 500x your stake.
The final four symbols are made up by wilds of different abilities with the least desirable being the uncharged wild. The wilds do not form any wins of their own but can appear on cascades. The wilds do however morph into electric wilds when they land next to a win or when the Wild Pair Explosion activates with the other wilds substituting for any of the other pay symbols.

Reactoonz 2 Features

When it comes to the features they make not make the most sense but believe me things are straight forward and will take just a couple of spins to understand, the idea is that winning clusters fill up the charge meters to activate bigger and better features as described below.
The key to all the features is the cascade feature. When you land a winning cluster, these are removed from your gaming screen and symbols from above drop into the spaces to potentially provide you with even more winnings.
On every spin, you will see that one of the one eyed symbols are randomly chosen to increase and if these symbols create a win the electric wild appears in one of the vacated spaces as well as filling the Fluctometer, once this meter is full there are a further 1-3 electric wilds added to your gaming grid, and the Fluctometer can be recharged numerous times but it does become disabled when the Gargantoon is released into the game.

The electric wilds can substitute for all the pay symbols and can even exterminate Reactoonz. The electric wild can remove any non-wild symbols and it also charges the Quantumeter where each symbol is worth a single charge. The Quantumeter keeps charging even after it releases the Energoon, however it is disabled if the Gargantoon is released. Your aim is to collect 55, 85, 110, or 135 charges and you will reach level 1, 2, 3, or 4, respectively. With every level there is a different wild released, level 1 will provide you with four 1x1 Energoon wilds. Level 2 provides one 2x2 Energoon wild, level 3 provides one 3x3 Gargantoon wild and level 4 provides a x2 multiplier for all wins and includes the Gargantoon wilds.

When a 3×3 Gargantoon triggers a cascade, it will then break up into two 2x2 Gargantoon wilds, and once they activate a cascade, they are then replaced by 9 1x1 Gargantoon wilds. However, this is not all as once the features have come to an end, there are two or more Electric wilds in views and the Wild Pair Explosion feature is activated. If you land two electric wilds next to each other all the symbols apart from the wilds disappear from the game screen. If the wilds are not next door to one another the symbols in between and surrounding symbols except for the wilds are destroyed, the symbols do not pay but do charge the Quantumeter.

Closing Thoughts

Once you figure out what exactly is going on in this slot you will see that there is lots to get excited by as there are some fabulous features and the chance to win 5,083 times your stake. Whilst this may be like the first release it does have its own personality and provides some highly compelling gaming.
