Diamond ‘n’ Dices Slots

Diamond ‘n’ Dices is one of the latest lot offerings from the gaming developers at Imagina and is played out over two sets of three reels with either a single pay line in the basic game or five pay lines in the top game.
The basic game is exactly what the name suggests, basic and will cost players 10 credits per spin and there is just one pay line and a hold feature. Depending on the combination that players land the slot may trigger a hold on one or two of the reels which gives the player even more chance of the following spin being a winner.

Landing promising symbols on the reels will see the slot also kick in and automatically hold the positions. The player does have the option to override the decisions made by the slot and can use the corresponding hold buttons to manually hold one or two reels at anytime during the game, apart from when the hold had been used in the previous round or the previous round had resulted in a win. Players can re-set their holds if they wish by simply using the re-set/collect button.

Symbols

There are three dice symbols and if these appear in a criss-cross pattern players can be rewarded with a random prize of 80 – 800 credits with the highest pay out in the basic game topping out at a massive 2,000 credits. Players that reach 2,000 credits will see the credits being automatically transferred to the credit meter. There are other ways players can win in the base game and these wins can be collected using the re-set/collect button or alternatively transferred to the top game using the save/start button. There is a button labelled the choose game and players can use this to switch between all of the bet levels available in both the basic and the top game.

Bet

The minimum bet when playing the top game is 50 credits and players create winnings by landing five of a kind across the five pay lines. Each of the pay lines in the top game are created with three of the same symbols being displayed and these stay on the gaming screen at all times. The highest win in the top game is 2,000 credits and there is a diamond symbol that acts as a sticker above certain symbols however unfortunately it does not have a standalone value.

Top Game

When players are playing in the top game one credit is deducted from the credits meter and the amount for the bet is taken from the club meter. If the credit meter is empty but players still have funds in the club meter, they can transfer the funds using the re-set/collect button. However, if the club meter is depleted of funds and the player wants to carry on playing the top game the missing credits can be used immediately from the credit meter. The club meter can only hold 2,000 credits and if the pay out is higher the excess is transferred automatically to the credits meter.

Review

The games on offer from Imagina combine all of the classic elements, players crave with some ingenious mechanics which gives the player a degree of control over their own gaming strategy. Several of their games are complete with multiple reel sets but this is dependent of the design of the game. Typically, the games offer one set of reels on the bottom (the basic game) and other reels and bonus games at the top hence the name to games. There are other similar features that players will find they come across, these being the hold and gamble feature.
I do feel that players should note is the exceptional design which truly encapsulates the vintage land based slots of days gone by. Every game by Imagina feature traditional symbols on the reels and an image that makes the games look like physical slots of a more nostalgic age.
