ZURICH IGAMING CONFERENCE 2019

The first Zurich iGaming Affiliate Conference will be held in Switzerland on 21st June and will see the heads of marketing, top affiliates, online casino operators and qualified attorneys all come together to discuss the legal side of gambling and online promotions by casinos.

Why is the conference needed?

Due to the MGA law for casinos regulations that were introduced on 1st January 2019 the Smile-Expo will see Swiss online casino experts gather. It is the introduction of the new regulations that have made it possible for Swiss bricks and mortar casinos to extend the licences they already hold with the Federal Council to incorporate gaming online.

What will the conference cover?

The conference will look at the legal side of online casino integration and ways in which gambling can be promoted in Switzerland. Amongst the invitees are operators, legal firms, gaming consultants, affiliates, regulators and marketers who will discuss further how Swiss gambling an become bigger.

Speakers

There will be specialist invited to speak at the conference about the legal aspects of gambling as well as the marketing trends and where gaming will sit in the future. Dr. Simon Planzer, who is a partner of Planzer Law, will give a presentation on, “Key aspects in Swiss online gaming regulation: prospect and challenges ahead.” Whereas Donal Barron, who heads up the Corporate Development at Banach Technology Ltd, will sit on a panel with other experts to discuss how to be successful as an affiliate marketer as well as how to attract players online.

Those attending the conference will include Jakub Kolomičenko who is the head of the Legal Department at Endorphina, Jack Symons the CEO at Gamban and Steve Donoughue who is the head Gambling Consultant at The Elephant Eaters Club Limited. These gentlemen will be discussing the right way to approach casino games as well as elaborating when they are on the panel that will discuss, “Responsible gambling as the future of gambling.” There will also be a number of other panel discussions which will include the following topics:

– Comparing the two markets, Switzerland and Belgium

– Issues that arise with regards to data protection

– Experiences in online gaming in the European marketplac.
