Overview of Rabcat’s new slot

Rabcat has brought about a brand-new slot in its list of new developments: this is called Treasure Heroes. Unlike previous Rabcat slots like North Storm, this newly designed slot, specifically developed for Microgaming, is stunning with innovative features and gameplay. North Storm may have had the looks, but Treasure Heroes certainly brings about the new play for the player to enjoy.
Slightly unusual to a standard slot, Treasure Heroes is seen to have 5 reels and 5 rows.

With a bird’s eye view perspective, this slot is seen to be staring into a neatly designed and laid dungeon. The reels all spin at the same time, but they don’t have the same symbols. While this may seem weird to the player in the beginning, this ties into the Moving Wall mechanic, explained later.

Betting for the player to win big

With the betting range starting at 20p and increasing to £40. This may not appeal to the higher betting players; however it is plenty for the player to enjoy, regardless of how much they’re betting.

Powering the slot is a maths model which may feel a little underwhelming and underpowered for the more advanced hardcore players. Symbols on the reels

This slot only has 6 symbols that pay, and they are intricately drawn and designed to be unique to Rabcat’s Treasure Heroes. In ascending order, we start with the blue gem, followed by the dragon charm, then the gold lantern before the Warrior. The two premium symbols are the Magician and the Treasure Chest. The latter pays out 1,000 times the stake for a full grid of 25.
There is however two other symbols. The first is the wild depicted as a purple witch-looking woman, who doesn’t pay out but does in fact help the player make even more clusters to win with. The second is the key, which is a scatter.

Fun filled features

Wins for the slot are had in clusters as opposed to lines in the dungeon slot. At least 6 matching symbols can make a cluster as long as they are touching horizontally or vertically.

The Moving Wall mechanic, as mentioned above, is the first of two main features. This is triggered after each winning cluster is formed. Firstly, the winning amount is paid to the player. Then the first, third and fifth reels move vertically in random directions with new symbols filling in the gaps. At the same time the same numbered rows will move horizontally. Any new wins will cause the feature to continue. This mechanism can both bring together symbols and rip them apart.

The second feature is the treasure Chamber Free Spins, which is triggered by the scatter. When two keys are in view the Free Spins is triggered and 10 spins are awarded. The keys merge to become one and unlock the door on the right. The game moves into the Treasure Chamber. Every time a Free Spin ends, a skeleton pulls a lever from above the reels to spin a premium symbol into view. This may turn them into stick wilds.
