Currently the developers at 3 Oaks Gaming are designing a variety of slots under their Hold and Win umbrella and Super Marble is their latest addition. This slot will attract casual players as it offers pay outs that would fall in the low to medium prize banner, and a couple of features that most players will already know and finally a fruit theme that is not unique.

Design & Theme

The idea the developers had to create a marble styled slot is fine, it is not exactly cutting edge and with regards to the theme and design the only way to describe it would be fruity. You can expect to come across the usual symbols. The design of this slot is modern, but the symbols and theme make it look like many other games both past and present.

Symbols

When it comes to the symbols you can expect to see all your old favourites with the lower paying symbols being the usual playing card symbols Jack through to Ace as well as watermelons, plums, bells and oranges. Then there are two feature symbols which are the wild represented by the pair of dice and the games logo which is the bonus symbol.

Bet Range

When it comes to placing your bet the minimum is $0.25 this equates to $0.01 per pay line, but when it comes to the maximum bet the set up is rather unusual and allows you to spend a total of $60 per spin and this equates to $2.40 per line bet.
There are two different winning pay outs up for grabs in Super Marble. The first is available in the bonus feature and this can activate the two fixed jackpots worth 1,000x the stake which would provide a win of $60,000 cash. The other comes from regular win combinations and if you land the right symbols on your reels you could win up to 250x the stake which would be up to $15,000.

Features

Whilst Super Marble may not look that impressive with regards to features particularly as it only has wilds, scatters and the Hold and Win bonus feature with pay outs of up to 1,000x your stake and sadly it does not really provide anything different from other games, even the set up is common with the 5-reels and 25 pay lines.
Unfortunately, when it comes to the features there is not anything that will really convince people to give the slot a try as it is rather simple and too close to other slots out there. However, take it from me the slot is worth a spin or two and although it is simple it does not mean that it is not a lot of fun to play!
First, we can look at the wild which is represented by the pair of dice. The wild can substitute for the other symbols when they are stacked on your reels and as so there is the chance to find you’re your whole reels are covered. As well as being able to match the regular game symbols on your lines the wild can also form new winning combinations. The only symbol that the wild cannot substitute for is the bonus symbol.

You will see the symbols that look like marbles which are purple in colour with gold numbers shown on them will show up regularly on your reels however, it is not that easy to land six and above which are what you need to activate the bonus game. But when you do activate the bonus game the marble symbols are sticky for the whole feature and stay in their positions. When you have activate the feature and your sticky marbles are in place you will be rewarded with re-spins, and this is when you will be hoping that more bonus symbols, and if you are lucky and this happens the re-spins are reset back to the original three. You are then rewarded with either 15 bonus symbols or you will play 3 re-spins without new ones and this will end the feature.

When you are playing in this mode there is a new type of symbol which is the super red marble, and if it appears it collects up all the values from the bonus symbols and then stays sticky and then pays you out at the end. The pay-out either comes in the form of a cash prize or a fixed jackpot which is 20x your stake for the mini jackpot, 50x your stake for the minor jackpot, or a massive 1,000x your stake which is the grand jackpot.

Final Thoughts

Although Super Marble is not unique, and you will probably know the features or at least be familiar with them. The slot will be favoured amongst players that enjoy the Hold and Win feature and those who prefer the low potential with just a small amount of risk.
I enjoyed playing Super Marble in so much as I was able to risk a minimal amount and receive some wins in return. Sometimes you just want something light and entertaining that requires minimal attention but still gives you a chance to land some wins. This is exactly what this slot gives, it does exactly what it professes too and this is done well with great design and excellent game play.
