Whether this is due to the 1,024 ways to win or that it offers stunning animations I cannot say particularly as there are plenty of elements that make this slot truly outstanding. Theme and Design

When it comes to the design the developers have certainly tried their hardest and the best bit is that you will not come across any of the usual playing card symbols, instead the symbols you do come across are original and thanks to the drawings the symbols are full of life. The only issue with the graphics is that you do need to play on a good device to keep up with the game and therefore you may find that the game lags a little.

When it comes to the symbols, you can expect to come across 19, which divide into 15 regular symbols, one wild and three scatters. The regular symbols comprise of three different groups these being Gangsters, Bad Girls and Bad Boys. You will not be surprised to learn that it is the Gangsters that pay out the largest amounts followed by the Bad Girls then the Bad Boys.

Features

There are various bonus features on offer in the Syndicate slot and these just make the game even more interesting. There is the House of Fun bonus that you can come across again and again and this is basically the re-spin feature which is activated after every win. This means that if you are lucky you can get a lot of consecutive spins. The re-spin feature can also be activated by six or more scatters. The next bonus feature is the free spins feature, and this is activated when you collect eight or more identical scatters and when you do, you are then awarded with one free spin for every scatter collected. Therefore, you can land at least eight free spins at a time.

With the scatters in the Syndicate there are three and they are the gang bosses Cesare, Bonita, and Frank. If you land six Bonita symbols and two Frank symbols you will not activate the free spins as the symbols have to be the same. However, as luck would have it the scatter can appear as a stacked symbol and then takes up twice as much space that a regular sixed symbol does.
Probably the only minor disappointment with these features is that the free spins do not vary at all even when you land the different bosses, and personally I feel that this is a missed opportunity on the developer’s part.

Conclusion

As I said at the very start of this review, Syndicate is one of the better made free slots currently available on the market and it offers a few bonuses that certainly make it a more interesting game to play. Personally, I feel that this slot will appear to players that prefer an edgier online game.

Whilst the graphics and design in this slot is outstanding and very well executed it will not appeal to all particularly those players that prefer slots such as Pixies of the Forest. My preference stands with a rougher type of gambling and am in awe of the animation, bonuses, and soundtrack that this slot has to offer.

I would rate this slot at a solid 9/10 as there is very little I did not like, maybe the RTP could be a little bigger and it would be good to have another couple of features however these are more about my own personal preference rather than what this slot has to offer. I played numerous hands and was impressed with the wins that I collected, the game play was solid and although I was lucky enough to play on a new device I can appreciate that the game could well lag on any under par technology. I highly recommend you give this game a spin or two as there are plenty of wins on offer.
