Overview of Dragon Lord

Dragon Lord is a fantasy slot developed by Green Jade Games. The game takes place in a land filled to the rafters with exotic fire-breathing creatures all trying to protect their vast caverns of gold. It uses a five-reel design with a 25-payline game engine. Overall, the gameplay is simple, even if the fiery theme is epic. 

Theme & Design

As a slot game, Dragon Lord has been around for a long time. Before online casinos, it was a retro classic, attracting players to casinos all over the world. Game Play 

When you enter Dragon Lord, you’ll be presented with a similar setup to other Green Jade Games. In the bottom left hand corner is an option to adjust your wager amounts. You can place bets from 25p all the way up to £25. In the middle, you have various options, including the manual spin button and auto-spin. There’s also a help icon in the bottom right should you get stuck or want to change any of the settings. 

Symbols

As with other slots from Green Jade Games, Dragon Lord features a five reel, three-row design. Each reel features stone-style A to J royal symbols next to four higher-paying dragon symbols. As you play the game, dragons fly into the reels in stacked formation. Dragons count as three standard symbols, covering three slot positions in the machine. The highest-paying dragon is the red dragon. If you get three, four or five of these in a row, you can earn 2.2 to 4 times your original wager. As mentioned, the dragon's eye symbol is the wild card. This can appear on all five reels and substitute for any standard symbol to complete winning combinations. If more than three dragon eyes appear on a single spin, then it will trigger the game’s bonus features - more on that below. 

Features

Green Jade Games has made the gameplay for Dragon Lord loyal to the original arcade game. It doesn’t try to overload you with extra features or special plays. If you get more than three dragon eggs, the game will forward you to the dragon egg feature. Here you’ll have the opportunity to select eggs to win up to a thousand times your original stake. The more egg scatter symbols you get, the more picks you’ll get. Three egg scatters will net you one pick, four will net you two, and five will give you three.

So what’s the final verdict on Dragon Lord? The background music and theme is bound to appeal to anyone who likes to play fantasy themed games. Green Jade Gaming has done an excellent job here. It’s also going to be popular among people who loved the original Dragon Lord and are looking for a slightly updated version to keep them on their toes. Some players, though, will lament the lack of additional features. For instance, the game doesn’t offer free spins. Even so, the RTP is pretty good at 97.16 per cent, so that alone will have many players coming back for more.
