Theme & Symbols

When it comes to the theme this game is not dark in fact there is nothing sinister, instead the slot takes place within a room that is lit by candlelight, and there is one thing that could make you think that the room is haunted and this is because of the three ghosts that are hanging on the wall to the left of the room, There is a curved staircase that will take players to the next level which is swathed in a cold blue light but there is still not a lot to scare you, even when the ghosts finally show up!

The first thing that you need to do is to decide on the bet that you are most comfortable playing with. The bets start from just 10p per spin up to £20 per spin but there is something rather sinister lurking in the background and this is the highly volatile math model, and the default return to player stands at 95.69% and reasonable potential which we will look at below.

Although this slot has plenty of features there are none in the base game and you just must make do with the line wins which are created when you land three or more of the same symbols from the first reel on the left.

Features

As stated above, the base game surprisingly has no features as so there is nothing in the main game to boost the regular wins or take away your attention. For this you will need to activate the free spins feature where the three ghosts will really show their worth in the game.

Conclusion

Betty, Boris, and Boo are some great characters, and they provide great entertainment value in this easy-going ghost slot. The slot provides easy visuals, great features and is not what you would consider to be a demanding slot. Although it is a bit of a surprise that the slot offers no extras in the base game and this does mean that the main game may drag a little and when I tested the slot it did take a little while for the first bonus to activate, and I did find I had to make a concerted effort to stick at it and see how it would pan out.

However, it is not all doom and gloom after the first bonus the free spins were far easier to activate which certainly made me more enthusiastic. The free spins were totally random which meant some bore no modifiers in the base game and others were a total ghost fest with all three characters making an appearance on a single spin and at best there wins of up to 5,241x your stake.

There is no doubt that Betty, Boris, and Boo can be fun, and there are some great rewards on offer. There are times in the free spins where the action can peak, and the results are good too.
