Slingo Capital Gains by Gaming Realms: interview with Ayla Uzunhasan

Ahead of the release of Gaming Realms’ next title Slingo Capital Gains, we spoke to Ayla Uzunhasan, the provider’s Marketing Manager, about what the game has in store for players. We also discuss the provider’s upcoming mechanic Re3ls™, its recent Italian Gaming Award shortlisting and how Slingo has become so popular within the Italian market.

Your next title Slingo Capital Gains launches on the 28/03, can you tell us what players should be expecting from the base game?

Slingo Capital Gains is inspired by the popular original release Capital Gains by AGS which has now been transformed to include additional Slingo fun! In this version, players will have five spins in which to match numbers landed on the 5×3 grid to mark their position on the gameboard above. A line of marked numbers is required to award a Slingo, which will see players begin to climb the incrementally increasing prize ladder filled with bonuses, instant win prizes and more!

Players can also land wilds and super wilds, allowing them to choose one of these numbers to mark, adding some interesting strategic depth to the gameplay on offer. Additional spins can also be awarded by landing a free spin symbol on these reels aiding their climb up the prize ladder.

Slingo Capital Gains also has multiple bonus rounds to unlock, can you tell us more about these?

As players climb the prize ladder, they will first gain access to a variety of instant cash rewards. As they continue to create Slingo lines, they will unlock a silver followed by a gold vault. These provide the player with an option of two vaults to crack, each containing increased cash rewards.

Continuing up the ladder, a money charge bonus is also unlocked. This initially grants a repin whenever an instant cash reward or jackpot prize of up to 10,000x is landed on the 5×3 reels. However, the number of respins granted will increase as more Slingos are created with up to three respins being rewarded each time an additional symbol is landed. Reaching the summit of the prize ladder by creating a full house on the gameboard will unlock an enhanced 5×5 grid with three respins and a 5x multiplier added to any cash prizes landed, substantially increasing the big win potential of the title!

We have heard a lot of excitement about your upcoming mechanic Re3ls™, can you tell us more about this and how it will work?

Re3ls™ is a new innovation for our Slingo games and will be launching in the summer with one of our most ambitious titles to date, Slingo River Re3ls™. It will see players gather respins throughout a round while creating Slingo lines. Landing a fisherman will trigger the respins (depending on the amount gathered throughout a round) where more fishermen can be landed. A full reel of fisherman will collect any instant cash prizes or multipliers landed on the gameboard throughout play, offering a fun and buildable gameplay experience.

How are you finding the Italian market and what separates it from others you are already active in?

It’s a pleasure to work in the Italian market and players here gravitate towards our unique Slingo titles in part thanks to the popularity of The Lotteria which sees lottery enthusiasts matching numbers to win prizes, along with the passion players have for bingo and slots in general. Slingo essentially blends both of these elements to create an entirely new experience.

Italian players also enjoy playing our titles on mobile, much more when compared to other countries. We have always led with a mobile-first approach which perfectly reflects the preferences of players here!

You were recently shortlisted at the Italian Gaming Awards in the category of Casino Content Provider, can you elaborate on this shortlisting?
